SUMMARY
| Advances in imaging technology have made video surveillance applications a realistic solution to the problem of theft and trespass in home and office environments. Home owners can have the assurance of knowing that while they are away or asleep, any approach to their property is monitored and recorded. |

BlueBrick uses a motion detection that is embedded on the video hardware allowing all four cameras to be monitored simultaneously with a low-spec PC. Implementing a motion detection system adds greater security in that, unlike a standard burglar alarm, the cause of the alarm can be identified by replaying the video. Motion detection can be honed to suit the position of each camera, reducing the number of false alarms. Another benefit of motion detection if that there is no need to wire additional PIRs and less reliable switch mechanisms throughout the property. |
